Stress is something we all have to learn how to manage!

Do you know what stress is? Have you ever said, “I feel stressed,” or, “That is stressing me out!”? Stress is an experience every human has. This book will help readers recognize when they leave a calm place and enter one of stress, and how to manage stress when that happens. There are lots of good, healthy ways to deal with stress, and the best ones are when you take care of yourself!

Sam Wilt, LCSW-C (she/her), is a neurodivergent social worker, perpetual advocate, and fun-loving nerd. She lives in Maryland with her husband, 2 kids, and their dogs. She loves making memories with her family and getting lost in a good book.

A Kids Book About STRESS is a fantastic way for a kid’s grownup to help them understand what is happening when they feel stressed out AND what they can do to help lower stress. Kids can use the ideas and take control of their stress – wish this book had been around when my kid was still a kid!! Sam Wilt created something wonderful that I will use as a therapist and pass on to clients’ grownups!

Today's world is a complex, challenging environment for our children. Many struggle to cope with the day-to-day pressures and stress of school, home life, and social situations. A Kids Book About Stress not only explains stress and its manifestations, but gives simple, easy-to-understand strategies to help young (and not so young!) readers cope with the world around them.
