Meet the Host(s)

Matthew Winner (he/they) is Head of Podcasts at A Kids Company About and has 15+ years in education as a teacher and an elementary school librarian.

Catherine Petru (she/her) comes to the world of podcasting via public radio, the performing arts, and community education. In addition to being Associate Producer of Audio at A Kids Co, she is co-founder and co-director of We Rise Production. Among other influences, her decolonial work is inspired and informed by the grassroots adult educational project Liberation Spring. She loves stories, collaborative visioning, and playing outside.
