Great book about public health!

Public health is such an important field, but one that can be challenging to explain given how broad it is. The author does a fantastic job of providing an overview of the elements of public health in a way that kids can connect to. This book can spark curiosity in kids and helps them see how "public health" is all around them.

Most Attractive & Educational Book on Topic

I am a career graphic artist specializing in Children’s clothing and books! In my experience working with young children this book on public health issues is appropriate ( ages 5/12) … grade through early middle school . The illustrations are kid proof and eye catching. Most of all the format and info are on point and well presented. Every grade school library and healthcare facility should carry this ! I highly recommend it !!!

Great at making kids think!

Great for kids, but not just for kids though! This book is a reminder of all of the ways that public health serves us and keeps us safe. How wonderful to get kids (and their adults) thinking and talking about why and how safe practices evolve to take care of all of us. And it's engaging and entertaining!

Fun to read and great info

This is great gift for any kid who is interested in helping people or become a nurse or doctor when they grow up. It presents the idea that health is impacted by so many different things around us, and when we look around, we can find ways to make peoples' lives better. The book was easy to follow, the content was relatable and the illustrations are great! I highly recommend.
