Therapy is for everyone, and it’s never too early (or too late) to start.

Therapy isn’t just for problems or when something goes wrong. It’s for your everyday mental health and is something you can tap into for well-being now and for the rest of your life. This book shows kids mental health therapy can be fun and helps underline its necessity.

A great book for kids & grownups!

AKBA Therapy is a super insightful and compassionate resource for kids and grownups! We know that talking about therapy with kids is important - yet it can be tricky. With its gentle and reassuring tone, AKBA Therapy fosters important conversations about mental health and the value of support when you need/want it. As a “read together” book (my fav kind!), it offers comfort and understanding for kids and serves as a valuable tool for parents/caregivers to start meaningful convos about mental health. As a pediatric therapist, it's already on my bookshelf!
