This is a kids book about war. Really! It helps explain what war is, why wars start, and what happens after a war. In light of all the current global conflict, this felt like the right book to create and just give away so kids everywhere can find some answers to their questions about war.

Timeless and Universal

Solid starter for larger conversations about war. I especially loved how this book leads through asking questions and by connecting to history, context, motivation, and implication. This will be a book we come back to a lot, I think.

A Kids Book About War

So thoughtfully, sensitively, and passionately written. Well done. We, adults, can learn a lot by reading to our kids!
