A Little Book about Our Aunties

My little girls aunties are activists. And so when we read this book we call it “A Little Book about Our Aunties” and we talk about Aunt R & Aunt L who stand up for what they believe in

I bought this for my baby niece, but loved sharing it with my 8 and 11 year old first and it led to a great discussion. It is simple, empowering and a valuable message for kids of any age.

Age-appropriate and beautifully done!!!

This book is just perfect. Explains activism in an easy-to-follow way for little ones (and some adults, lol!) If you're thinking about it– get it, and you'll get it again and again for babies and kids of friends and family!

A Great Start

I come for an adopted/mixed family where we were raised with very open minds. Having a daughter of my own almost a year ago, I really wanted to instill the same open mindedness I was gifted. The problem is the world isn’t that way, so finding a way to teach my child has been a struggle. Then I found these books, and it was perfect. Now my daughter is learning how to identify when things are not equal and how she can be an advocate in her community. Seriously this book club is worth every penny, if not more.
