I work at a preschool, and this book was received so well at our diverse school! I was so proud of how they grasped the easy to understand concepts and watched them bond over their differences!
One of my proudest moments was when my 2 year old said, "A for is like a portal." This has quickly become one of his favorite books.
My kids keep asking for more of these books - they love them! Easy to understand for my 7 year old, very engaging, not too long. Perfect for those hard topics!
My 8 year old said, "I can't wait for the next 3 books!" And loves reading them outloud to me because the text isn't too much, and it talks about real issues
Beautiful book. My almost 2 year old & his 5 year old cousin wanted us to read it over & over the day we got it. Will definitely be ordering others.
These books have been so wonderful at explaining things in a way they understand. Not only are they learning from them we are as well. Thank you, thank you got creating these books.
Great read. Awesome illustration. Definitely a story to read to every kid out there.
This book (as well as the entire series) explains tough topics in ways kids can grasp and appreciate. It is essential reading in today’s society, much needed to create a more harmonious, inclusive, and understanding society. I applaud the writers and I am proud to share this book in my Free Little Library offerings.
I love how easy these books allow us to teach our kids about topics that boost their empathy and compassion. I could not recommend them enough!
My daughter’s best friend was just diagnosed with leukemia. How do you explain that to a five year old? A Kids Book About, that’s how. Seriously came straight here, and it delivered. Clear, concise, unemotional. Thank you!
I brought this book for my 12 year old grandson, it was 1 of his b'day presents on the 26 of July, Best investment I ever made, I read it with him, and it was amazing his response after reading it, I truly recommend this purchase for everyone with children, I will also be purchasing a couple more of their books,
You cannot go wrong purchasing any of the “A Kids Book About.”
I have purchased several different books for my grandchildren.
Fantastic! Simple, straightforward, and answers the questions kids would ask if they could. I bought this for parents to check out from my school counselor room.
My son loved the books. He said "these are set up so I can read them and understand them because of the way the space out the words."
These books hit the mark! I’m always surprised by how much I need to hear the messages they share.
